The Charity!
The first "edge" of this sword is the "Charity!"
This charity will be providing every relief supply imaginable. This would include food, medicine, blankets, tents, mosquito nets, shoes, clothes, tools, books and anything else that would be needed to improve the quality of someone’s life, or even save it.
These supplies would be arranged together in "Care Packages." These packages would be purchased by our members/contributors and could be customized to help in specific charitable venue. For example maybe someone wants to help the 5000 children a day that die from waterborne diseases such as cholera or dysentary. That same person has now found themselves in a position to help others but doesn’t know where to start, or just maybe doesn’t have the time. We can help you help others!
We plan to begin the Charity with an incredible product called the Lifestraw! This amazing little water filter is going to change the world! As mentioned earlier 5000 children die every day because of diseased water. That is approximately one child every 3.47 minutes. Lifestraw is lightweight and can be carried around the neck. It looks and is used just like a normal straw except with a Lifestraw you can literally kneel down at a disease infested river or pond and suck clean, safe water right through the straw. Eventually we will branch out into other supplies. Like mosquito nets to help battle malaria, meals ready to eat(MRE's) to stop people from starving, books for education, and tools for self sufficiency. But for now we will be happy to help stop children from dying a most horrifying and humiliating death such as cholera or dysentary. Profits realized by the charity from the sale of the care packages will be donated to organizations whose only need is funding for supplies that we cannot provide and expand our products so that we can roll out into more versatile and useful care packages.
